Ipsy January 2016 bag *tried products review*

Now that I have tried all the products in my Ipsy bag this month, here is my quick review on them:

Hey Honey Eye Contour Lifting Fluid

Basically a fancy way of saying eye cream. LOL. This eye cream felt like a typical under-the-eye cream that I could leave on all night and feel awake and refreshed in the morning. I will definitely be putting it to good use.

Skyn Iceland Glacial Cleansing Cloths

I was actually running low on makeup remover wipes, so these came in at a perfect timing. The cloths are soapy and just the right amount of wetness to take all of my makeup off. They actually make me feel like I just finished washing my face with face soap and water.

Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in the color You’re Toast

The eyeshadow’s pigment is bright, copper-like-colored, and glittery. I think it’s a great color for day or highlighting a makeup look for the evening.

Mr. Write (Now) Eyeliner Pencil by The Balm Cosmetics in the color Jac

I actually like this eye liner because first of all I don’t have an eyeliner in this color. Second of all because it’s not too creamy. Reason I can appreciate that is because it doesn’t smear easily and actually stays on when I wear it on/near my waterline. The color is a very nice brown-gold.

Dirty Little Secret Lipstick in the color Vengeance

I wasn’t expecting the purple/fuchsia color and I didn’t own any purple colored lip sticks before this one so I didn’t know what to expect in terms of how it would look. It actually looks very pretty and soft on the lips. It takes me away from the typical reds and pinks that I had in stock.  I really fell in love with this one.
